10A – Elevator Pitch No. 1

  1. Hi Arthur,
I think you did a great job with your presentation! I thought it was a good idea to add all of those facts at the beginning to help people realize how big of an issue this actually is. I also liked how you added information about how you plan on moving the app forward by translating it into new languages. Overall I think this went really well for your first attempt!

  2. Hi Arthur,
I really enjoyed your elevator pitch! I think that you have identified a unique opportunity and have solved a real problem. Many parents spend countless hours and dollars on speech therapy. An app is such an awesome idea and could be more successful because your clientele will be able to practice on their own time. Not only is your idea great but you were composed, spoke at a great speed, and kept it concise.

  3. Hi Arthur,
Fantastic elevator pitch. It really hit home for me because we had to put our daughter in speech therapy about 10 years ago and it was a nightmare. Luckily we had a couple of the teachers at her school sit down with her three times a week to help her. It wasn't really about the money or the cost, it was trying to find someone who would be a good fit for our child and someone we would be comfortable with. I wish it was only about the cost back then. Keep up the good work!

  4. Hi Arthur,
Hope all is well with you. I think your first elevator pitch was a good one for being the first! As everybody, I think that you felt a little nervous...right? As I mentioned in one of your previous posts, the idea of having an app to help the children who need speech therapy would be very helpful. You should also consider the options offered by the local governments. Our state of Florida has an accessible program for children up to their 36th month of age to therapies such as speech, occupational, and physical, and are at no cost for parents. I think that your solution can be a complement to the development of our children.
